The ideal team size is 6-8 people to prepare the meal, 6-8 to serve, and 6-8 to clean up. Some teams split their group into shifts, based on these needs. The time commitment is about 5 hours total.

Effective April 1st, 2009 The Community Table is planning menus and providing food in exchange for a $125 minimum donation and eight gallons of milk. This will help us utilize donated food and pay the rent in our new location.

You can help by forming a team of six to 12 members who will prepare and serve the meal, and return the kitchen and dining area to a clean state. Two to five team members are needed to cook and serve the food, one to wash dishes and one or two to clean tables and to sweep and mop floors. Often, community service workers are available to help. Teams are always assisted by an on-site coordinator provided by The Community Table. The Community Table plans menus and provides food in exchange for a $125 minimum donation and 8 gallons of milk. This helps us utilize donated food and pay the rent in our location.
