About Us
Who We Are
Founded in 1993, The Community Table is a
collaborative effort of the local churches, the area food
bank, and many concerned individuals and
representatives of civic and social groups.
Teams of six to ten volunteers are sponsor a meal.
With the guidance of the on-site coordinator, volunteer
teams prepare and serve the meal, and clean the
serving area.
We rely on the generosity of the community for volunteer
and financial support and are grateful for the spirit of
giving and participation. We desire to continue to build
a broad base of ongoing support in order to respond to
the growing need. Regular expenses include: food,
cooking and serving utensils and equipment, salaries
and wages, insurance, and office supplies.
