Stone Soup Awards
This folk tale tells the story of a community that
contributes what they can to make a delicious soup that
started with just a few stones in the water. Our
community partners build The Community Table in this
way. Here are some examples of how small groups,
taking small steps, come together to do big things for
The Community Table.
First Presbyterian Church held a thrift sale, raising $200
for TCT.
The Memorial High School Improv team donated $200
of the proceeds from a show to TCT.
Sacred Heart PCCW baked goodies and sold them
after church, raising over $400 for TCT.
After the Eau Claire Marathon, Festival Foods donated
excess oranges and sandwiches to TCT.
Sammy's Pizza donated enough pizza crusts for two
teams to make homemade pizzas for our guests.
Each day, a group of volunteers sponsors the meal at
The Community Table. This is an amazing
demonstration of community building and collaboration.
